Elena Tonon
Filmmaker
Elena Tonon is our young creative professional originally from Treviso, Italy, who grew up in the nearby town of Conegliano. Raised as an only child, she describes her childhood as happy and social, often spending time with other children in her neighborhood. From an early age, she developed curiosity and openness toward people and experiences, traits that continue to define her today. At 16, she expanded her worldview by spending a year abroad in Vancouver, Canada, an experience that strengthened her independence.
After completing high school, Elena moved to Milan to pursue higher education. She first studied media advertising and communication before completing a master’s degree in cinema, television, and new media. Her academic journey reflects a strong interest in storytelling and visual culture, which later shaped her professional path. In October 2025, shortly after graduating, she relocated to Amsterdam in search of an international experience and creative opportunities.
At Heitland Media Group, Elena is known not only for her filming and editing skills but also for the calm and balanced presence she brings to her team. In high-pressure situations, she contributes a sense of stability, helping others navigate deadlines and challenges without unnecessary stress. Her personality is defined by empathy, curiosity, and a strong openness to different perspectives, with no topics considered taboo.
Outside of work, Elena is passionate about cinema, literature, and photography, and she aspires to write and publish her own stories. She is driven by curiosity, empathy, and a desire to grow, and hopes to be remembered as hardworking, kind, and authentic in both her personal and professional life.
